PROJECTS<\/h5>\n

Kenya is a developing nation. It has a frail economy and jobs are scarce. Although primary education is free in Kenya since the year 2003 many parents could still not afford paying secondary, college or university fee. Parents (for those lucky to have them) sell the little they own each school term until they have no more to sell. Then there ends a child\u2019s only hope out of poverty. With such a background in mind, Makodeny has the following ongoing projects:<\/p>\n

EDUCATION FUNDS FOR YOUTH<\/h5>\n
VISION<\/h6>\n

To empower youth from poor families in Kadibo Division, Kisumu County, through education so that they can grow in a self-reliant individuals.<\/p>\n

OBJECTIVES<\/h6>\n
    \n
  1. Support needy youth financially so that they can remain in school and complete their studies.<\/li>\n
  2. Encourage youth to undertake training by paying their fees in order to equip them with skills required in the job market.<\/li>\n
  3. Assist needy youth with any other financial needs that might hinder their full participation in learning such as books, school uniform, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
