School fees payment began with paying for one student from a personal account, then two, three \u2026\u2026and so on until a stage where it was clear that an educational fund needs to be established. It is difficult to pick one person to give support when you are faced with a very large group of youth from poor families who are all equally in need. Makodeny aims to send all these youth to school and then to a training institute so that they can grow into self-reliant individuals.Makodeny also assists in community development projects in the areas where these youth reside. These include: Water projects (digging of boreholes), and income-generating projects.<\/p>\n<h5><strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\">VISION<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The vision of Stichting Makodeny is to empower youth from poor families in Kadibo Division, Kisumu County, through education so that they can grow into self-reliant individuals.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><strong><span lang=\"EN-GB\">MISSION<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">To engage potential funders, individuals or companies, to finance education of youth from poor families and further support other general projects in Kadibo Division, Kisumu County, for example borehole digging.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><strong>AIM OF THE FOUNDATION<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>The foundation aims to fund and support education and development projects in Kadibo Division Kisumu County Kenya.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WHO WE ARE &nbsp; Stichting Makodeny, started in 1995 by a Kenyan after realizing the educational needs of youth from poor families in Kadibo Division, Kisumu County Kenya, is a development-oriented organisation.
